Typical EFA Night
11 A Side Premier League
The EFA Premier League kicks off on Saturday 4th October.
Each team will play one match per week.
Teams will play each other twice between October 2025 and
May 2026.
The league will break for the holidays on Saturday 13th Dec and resume Saturday 10th January.
Matches will be held on Saturday Mornings at either
08:30 AM /09:00 AM /10:15 AM on a variety of pitches across Dubai.

The format for the TROPHY/CUP will be determined based on the number of team entries.
11 A Side League One
The EFA League One will kick off on Monday 29th September 2025 and continue until May 2026.
Teams will play one match per week on Monday evenings at 20:45 on local pitches in Dubai.
The league will break for the holidays on Monday 15th Dec and resume Monday 12th January.
For any other dates your team requests NO GAME,

The EFA League Two will kick off on Thursday 2nd October 2025
and continue until May 2026.
Teams will play one match per week on Thursday evenings at 20:45 on local pitches in Dubai.
The league will break for the holidays on Thursday 18th Dec and resume Thursday 15th January.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How many players can my team register?
Teams are permitted to register up to 30 players.
How many substitutes are we allowed to bring each game?
Teams are permitted to play a maximum of 18 players in any given match (11 players and up to 7 substitutes). Substitutes can roll on/ roll off unlimited throughout the game.
How do we register players?
The EFA admin team will make contact once team registration is complete to share player registration information.
What type of footwear should I wear?
Most 11 A Side League games will be played on grass. Moulded studs are recommended. Metal Studs are prohibited.
For games held on 3G and 4G turf we advise that small moulded studs or trainers to be worn.
Do we need to have team kits to play in the league?
Yes, teams will need to be in matching kits/ colours to play in the leagues.
EFA can source kits for you through our preferred suppliers should you need
Do we need to wear shin pads?
Yes, shin pads are mandatory. Players without shin pads will not be permitted to play
Can I play for more than one EFA team?
Yes, you can play for more than one EFA team so long as they are in a different Division. E.G you can play for one team on a Sat am and then a different team on Monday night.
What does it mean if I receive a red card during a game?
Whilst we try to keep red cards to a minimum, if you do receive a red card during a match, this will mean that you are suspended for at least one game. Depending on the seriousness of the offense, suspensions can be more than one game, but this will be reviewed by an EFA panel before any final decision is made.
Can I transfer between teams in the same league during the same season?
Yes, you can transfer between teams, but there will need to be 7-days advance notice so that all administration can be completed.
Can I join another team if I still owe season fees?
All season fees/fines should be cleared before any transfer can be made. EFA will contact your current team to make sure all fees are settled before accepting transfers to a new team.
